The Brooklyn Community is the FUN community!  The students and staff of the Bears have had a very successful year, with some excellent results in both the Swimming and Athletics Carnivals held in Term 1 and also recently being crowned the champions of the P.F.L (Pedare Football League)! 

Success is not just limited to the sporting arena for the Brooklynites however, as many of our students have received awards in the Westpac Mathematics Competition and National Science Week competitions to name just a few.  A large number of our students also demonstrate great musical ability, be it on the piano, singing or even playing the harp! All this success is secondary to our main goal though, having as much fun as possible! 

We are currently supporting the Hudson Maher Foundation, founded by Tanya and Brett Maher to help families cover the costs associated with the specialist medical treatment of bone marrow transplants.  It has been a great privilege to see the Brooklyn students donating both their time and money to support this very worthy charity.
