Toc-H

Toc-H is a worldwide organisation that has been active in Australia since 1925. The main focus is on building better communities by reaching out to all people in friendship and service, confronting prejudice and practising Christian values.

There are four personal challenges that inspire members of Toc-H:

Friendship - To love widely. To welcome all in friendship.
Service - To build bravely. To give personal service.
Fair-mindedness - To think fairly. To listen to the views of others.
The Kingdom of God - To witness humbly. To develop the spiritual dimension of life in practical ways.

The Pedare Toc-H branch has enjoyed spending social time together with bushwalks, video nights and camping.

Service has been offered in such ways as: Tree Planting for National Trees Day, selling hot cross buns for an orphanage in Thailand, collecting items for the children in Ronald McDonald House at Easter, visiting nursing homes and involvement in the 40 Hour Famine.

These Pedare students are willing to look beyond their own circumstances to reach out to others.
