  • maintain peer support programs that assist student transition and development
  • develop students’ cultural awareness through a range of cultural experiences
  • continue to develop our LIFE pastoral program within the College community
  • provide opportunities for students and staff to demonstrate Christian outreach
  • develop mentoring and information resources to support identified student, staff,  parent and community needs

In Resources Development the College utilises revenue from fees, government grants, contributions and borrowings to provide quality education and facilities, while maintaining fee levels comparable with similar independent schools. Within these constraints we will …

  • manage finances to support the ongoing needs of our quality educational program, with operating surpluses supporting future capital works development
  • seek to broaden our sources of income and capital for College development
  • develop and implement a master building and infrastructure plan. Among developments being considered are:
    • an administration and resource facility at the Junior Schooling Campus
    • a Middle Schooling teaching facility at the Surrey Farm Campus
    • continued improvement of ICT learning and administration facilities
    • the upgrade of roadworks, parking and traffic flow within the College
    • the upgrade and/or replacement of transportable classrooms
    • contributions to maintenance and development of the Shared Facilities
  • develop our College website as a quality, interactive medium for marketing and communications within and beyond our College community
  • attract and retain quality teaching and non teaching staff through salary levels, professional development, working conditions and performance review
  • engage parents and old scholars in the development of our College
  • actively market the College locally and to identified overseas student markets

Where to from here?

The College Board and Leadership Team will develop an extensive Business Plan from this strategic document that will identify key responsibilities and action planning during the five-year period of our Strategic Plan. The Business Plan will call upon the cooperative contribution of all members of our College community.
