Position: Instrumental Music Tuition

Tenure:

This is a contract position starting February 2018.

About the Role:

Pedare Christian College is seeking applications from dynamic, motivated and energetic Instrumental and Vocal tutors across all areas. The College has an extensive instrumental program with private tuition in Woodwind, Brass, Strings, Percussion, Voice, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Piano. We also have a strong ensemble program and it would be desirable for applicants to have ensemble directing experience. We welcome applications from experienced, specialist tutors who are preferably able to teach students from R-12 in our growing program.

Position: Sports Coaches

Tenure:

This is a contract position starting February 2018.

About the Role:

We are calling for expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Sports Coaches, to provide high quality supportive instruction and demonstration across the extra-curricular areas.

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with young people, families and supporting staff
  • Suitable qualification and experience in the relevant sport
  • Ability to provide specific individual and team feedback to students of a variety of ability levels
  • Love of sport and the enthusiasm required to work with and motivate young people

Applicants must hold a current working with children DCSI clearance, and have completed RAN training. You must also have the desire and energy to teach young people. You will be required to maintain confidentiality and have a good rapport with students, parents/carers and staff at the College.  Applicants must actively support the College’s Christian ethos.
