We understand choosing a school for your child is a very important decision and we will do everything we can to help you with that process.

Enrolment at Pedare is open to all students regardless of their religious background with the expectation families support the Christian values and programmes of the College. Pedare enjoys a diverse and multicultural community, and this diversity is celebrated in our College prayer through the words;

“…knowing that our diversity inspires creativity and builds community strength.”

Enrolment is accepted at any level with the main entry year levels being Reception, Year 6 and Year 8. Early application is recommended as there are strong waiting lists for some year levels.


One of the best ways to see what Pedare has to offer is to see it first-hand. Attend one of our tours to discover how Pedare can help develop the potential of your child. Tours are scheduled each term and personal tours are available by arrangement.

2020 Scholarships

Registration is now open to students who will be new to Pedare in 2020.  There are several different scholarship opportunities.

Principals Academic Scholarships for Years 7 – 12 in 2020.  These scholarships are only available to students who will be new to Pedare in 2020. The scholarships can provide up to 50% remission on tuition fees for the successful student for their schooling from their commencement at Pedare through to the end of Year 12.

The Catford All-Rounder Scholarship is for students new to Pedare in Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 in 2020. This special scholarship is named in recognition of Pedare’s Founding Principal, Mr Geoff Catford.  It is awarded to prospective students who have proved all-round ability on the basis of school reports, references and evidence of participation in extra-curricular activities and leadership potential. Applicants for this scholarship will also need to sit the ACER test.

The Pedare Launch Scholarship is open to students new to Pedare in Years 7 – 11 in 2020. A minimum of one Pedare Launch Scholarship will be offered to a student entering Middle School (Years 7 – 9) and one to a student entering Senior School (Years 10 – 11)

Recipients of the Launch Scholarship will show an aptitude towards science, technology, mathematics, and engineering.  Recipients may be creative, thinkers, bold, risk-takers, collaborators and challengers.

The value of all Scholarships is up to 50% tuition fee remission with Scholarships being reviewed on an annual basis to monitor the student’s continuing performance. It is expected that recipients will complete their schooling at Pedare.


Academic Achievements

Pedare has a diverse community with a variety of career pathways and for those focused on academic pathways, there are no obstacles for students to achieve. With innovative learning programmes and individual support for each student ensures each student can reach their potential and gains the best Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) possible. Pedare aims to provide these academic pathways whilst maintaining a modest tuition fee. Scholarship recipients receive up to 50% off of the tuition fee making academic pathways more accessible.

The College is very proud that Pedare students achieve consistently high academic results including many pathway scholarships into Universities.

2020 Music Scholarships


The Pedare Christian College Music Scholarship Program recognises individual students who display excellence and/or outstanding potential in musical talent and the commitment of the College to this important area of the curriculum and the musical and worship life of the College.

These scholarships are open to instrumentalists and vocalists and will be awarded to students who display outstanding musical ability and potential and a sound academic record. The College has a strong music culture with Concert Bands, Stage Band, vocal ensembles for all ages, string ensembles, percussion ensemble and a biennial musical that we will develop with successful applicants. Applicants may have a modern or classical background in Music.

Pedare Christian College has a highly successful Music program, and students are consistently provided with performance opportunities within the College and wider community.

2020 Principals Scholarships for Music Excellence range in value from 25% to 50% remission of the College Tuition fees, for up to 3 years. Principals Music Scholarships are currently only open to students who will be new to Pedare in 2020.  Principals Music Scholarship recipients are expected to participate in a minimum of two ensembles at the College.

 2020 Band Scholarships. Pedare is offering Band Music Scholarships to students new to the College in 2020 who display excellence and/or outstanding potential in Music on a band instrument, specifically: Trombone, French Horn, Euphonium or Tuba and Clarinet
