At Pedare, we provide a dynamic, student-centred learning environment where both student potential and ability is catered for within the whole school program.  With national awards and a nationally recognised program, we welcome your child for success and a strong future.  These early years of Junior Schooling are the foundation from which all life-long learning will develop.  Hence the importance of the following aspects of our Junior Schooling learning environment:

  1. explicit teaching
  2. appropriate modeling of behaviours and attitudes
  3. a variety of learning experiences and opportunities which cater for individual needs
  4. teaching of social skills, promoting healthy self-esteem
  5. a safe and engaging learning environmentGirls

The Junior Schooling Campus is distinct in nature and layout, catering specifically for the physical, social/emotional and academic needs of our R-5 students.  There are two classes at each year level from Reception to Year 5.  Our classrooms are situated around an upper level courtyard and a lower level garden courtyard. The sports oval is on a third level.

The Junior Campus was opened in February 1993 and is located on Bicentennial Drive, Golden Grove, a short distance from the Surrey Farm Campus which incorporates our Middle and Senior Schooling students, Years 6-12.

Entering Reception at Pedare

The early years of a child's life and schooling lay the foundation for all future learning. At Pedare we believe that these years are essential in providing an appropriate introduction to life-long learning.

Please follow the link, Entering Reception at Pedare, for information on preparation and transition to school.
