Pedare Application Process

Your Application

Applications may vary depending on the position for which you are applying. We look for the following when considering applications:

  • A completed application form (filled in electronically or by hand)
  • A covering letter no more than two pages
  • A resume that includes:
    –    educational background, including academic transcripts (where applicable)
    –    relevant work history including achievements
    –    membership of professional organisations
    –    interests including voluntary and/or charity work
    –    relevant skills or experiences
    –    recent professional development courses
    –    prizes, scholarships or awards
    –    name and contact numbers of 3 appropriate professional referees
    (your current Principal will be required for teaching roles)
    –    a statement of educational philosophy (for teaching positions)

Vacant Positions

Position: People, Culture and Safety Officer (Education Support Officer)

Tenure:

Permanent Position 1.0 FTE, 48 weeks per year

About the Role:

Pedare is a Reception to Year 12, co-educational, independent, Anglican and Uniting Church School. Pedare is located in the outer north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide, at Golden Grove, where there are currently over 1000 students enrolled, and approximately 140 staff employed. The College is structured into three schools, Junior School (Reception to Year 5), Middle School (Years 6 to 9) and Senior School (Years 10 to 12).

This position works within a small team and is responsible for supporting and executing the day to day People and Culture and WHS activities and initiatives across the College, R-12. Supported by the Manager People and Culture, this role implements initiatives that improve People and Culture and WHS engagement, communication, and operations at Pedare.

Position: Junior School Teacher

Tenure:

Contract Position 0.4 FTE, Terms 3 and 4 2021

About the Role:

Pedare is a Reception to Year 12, co-educational, independent, Anglican and Uniting Church School. Pedare is located in the outer north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide, at Golden Grove, where there are currently over 1000 students enrolled, and approximately 140 staff employed. The College is structured into three schools, Junior School (Reception to Year 5), Middle School (Years 6 to 9) and Senior School (Years 10 to 12).

We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified teacher with the understanding of and experience in the Primary Years Programme and / or Guided Inquiry to lead our Mid-Year Reception class.  This position is a job share arrangement.
