Pedare Application Process

Your Application

Applications may vary depending on the position for which you are applying. We look for the following when considering applications:

  • A completed application form (filled in electronically or by hand)
  • A covering letter no more than two pages
  • A resume that includes:
    –    educational background, including academic transcripts (where applicable)
    –    relevant work history including achievements
    –    membership of professional organisations
    –    interests including voluntary and/or charity work
    –    relevant skills or experiences
    –    recent professional development courses
    –    prizes, scholarships or awards
    –    name and contact numbers of 3 appropriate professional referees
    (your current Principal will be required for teaching roles)
    –    a statement of educational philosophy (for teaching positions)

Position: Performing Arts Teacher (Junior School)

This is a contract position for the 2021 School Year 0.9 FTE

About the Role:

Pedare is a coeducational Anglican and Uniting Church school comprising of Junior (R-5), Middle (Years 6-9) and Senior (Years 10-12) based in Golden Grove.  We are committed to developing young people to make a difference in our global community. 

We take pride in knowing and understanding each of our students, their learning and their interests. As strengths are recognised we strive to support and enhance them whilst maintaining balance and providing a range of opportunities in a variety of disciplines.

Pedare Christian College has an opportunity for an innovative, enthusiastic and experienced Performing Arts Teacher to teach Dance, Drama and Music ‘Performing Arts’ to students from Reception to Year 5.
