We understand choosing a school for your child is a very important decision and we will do everything we can to help you with that process.

Enrolment at Pedare is open to all students regardless of their religious background with the expectation families support the Christian values and programmes of the College. Pedare enjoys a diverse and multicultural community, and this diversity is celebrated in our College prayer through the words;

“…knowing that our diversity inspires creativity and builds community strength.”

Enrolment is accepted at any level with the main entry year levels being Reception, Year 5, Year 6, and Year 7. Early application is recommended as there are waiting lists for some year levels.

Open Mornings

Choosing the right school for your child is vital and the best way to make an informed decision is to visit on a school day, speak with staff and students and see classes taking place.

Open Morning is a unique opportunity to discover Pedare. Join us for a tour of the College and discover what makes Pedare different.

At an Open Morning, visitors are guided in small groups by staff and Student Leaders to explore and see the school in action.

Scholarships

2025 Senior Academic Scholarships

Application for a Senior Academic Scholarship is open to both new students and current Pedare students, who will enter Years 9, 10, 11 or 12 in 2025.

Applicants are required to register online to sit the Senior Scholarship Test, which is administered by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). Applicants are required to demonstrate a range of skills such as the ability to interpret, infer, deduce and think critically. The tests are not curriculum based and do not test the ability to retrieve learned knowledge, nor are they diagnostic.

The value of the scholarships is up to 50% tuition fee remission with Scholarships being reviewed on an annual basis to monitor the student’s continuing performance. It is expected that recipients will complete their schooling at Pedare.

The ACER scholarship examination will be held at Pedare, 12-30 Surrey Farm Drive, Golden Grove on Saturday 22 June, 2024.

Online registrations are now open and the closing date for registrations is Friday 7 June 2024. The fee to sit the scholarship test is $120.

Students in Year 8 or 9 in 2024, can apply for the Level 2 Scholarship Test for Year 9 or 10 in 2025.
