We are so proud of our Pedare Music students who had an uplifting and inspiring weekend at Generations in Jazz in Mount Gambier recently. Stage Band, Luminaire and Prelude, alongside 5,000 students from Australia and New Zealand, performed with passion and skill in their highly competitive divisions, with fantastic feedback from the adjudicators.
A very special congratulations to Sarah M (Year 10), who received a Superband Award for her outstanding Vibraphone playing within our division.
The experience was truly energising, featuring world-class performances and workshops with the legendary ‘Tower of Power’ from the USA. Congratulations to all the GIJ 2026 students and staff for such a successful and motivating weekend!
