Student Life

Clubs and Groups

Students at Pedare are offered opportunities to experience and participate in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities that enhance their learning and develop their talents and passions.

Pedare’s Extra-Curricular Clubs and Groups give students a launchpad for curiosity, creativity and leadership. Designed to complement our academic curriculum, our broad program spans STEM, the arts and critical thinking, with activities running both during and outside the school day.

Chess Club

Sharpen strategic thinking, patience and problem-solving skills. This is a collaborative space where players of all skill levels can enjoy casual games or prepare for inter-school tournaments.

Lions (LEO) Club / Lions (Cubs) Club

Focused on leadership and community service, the Lions Club gives students the opportunity to design and lead volunteer projects, making a positive impact both at the College and in the wider community.

Lions Cubs Club is for students aged 7 to 12 years old (Years 3 to 5), while LEO (Leadership, Experience and Opportunity) Club is for Year 6-12 students.

Debating

Debating builds powerful public speaking, research and critical analysis skills, giving students the confidence to formulate compelling arguments and compete in structured inter-school leagues.

EcoForce

As Pedare’s environmental action group, EcoForce drives sustainability at the College through hands-on conservation projects, recycling initiatives and eco-friendly community awareness campaigns.

OzAsia

Celebrating cultural diversity, our OzAsia group engages students in rich intercultural experiences, arts and events that deepen their connection to and understanding of the Asian region.

Robotics Club

Pedare VEX Robotics Competition extra-curricular program is open to students from Years 4-12. VEX Robotics Competitions are more than just building a robot and programming it! Students come together after school to share their passion for robotics, working collaboratively to build both autonomous and remote-controlled robots.
