Year 12 Physics and Digital Technology Students attended the Quantum Australia Conference Careers Fair and Open Day on Thursday, 30 April. Students learned how quantum is being applied in the real world and explored study and career pathways across science, engineering, computing and beyond.
The interactive presentations and demo spaces allowed students to understand how companies are leveraging quantum computing, such as Quantx, who is developing methods of time transfer over optical fibre and optical free-space links utilising both conventional and quantum techniques. This is all happening right here and now at Lot Fourteen in the heart of Adelaide.
